From a New Horizons connected classroom in Washington, D.C. you can attend a live, instructor-led New Horizons class in another city. Using a special dual-monitor workstation, a two-way remote controlled computer, a virtual whiteboard, and voice-over-IP technology you will be able to:

• View the instructor's presentation
• Hear, be heard, and participate in the instructor's classroom
• Perform exercises on a remotely-controlled computer in the instructor's classroom

In the instructor's classroom:

• Sensitive microphones capture the instructor's lecture and students' discussion
• Loudspeakers bring your voice into the classroom
• The instructor presents on a virtual whiteboard so that you and students within the instructor's  classroom see the same presentation
• The instructor can see everything you do on your remotely-controlled computer, and can take control of the computer to assist you with exercises
