New Horizons is authorized by the Department of Veterans Services to provide training to veterans under the GI Bill.
Do I Qualify?
If you have at least 90 days of aggregate active duty service after September 10, 2001 and:
- Are still on active duty, or
- Are an honorably discharged Veteran, or
- Have a service-connected disability
Then you may be eligible to take advantage of Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits.

What Benefits Am I Eligible to Receive?
The Post 9/11 GI Bill provides education benefits that cover a percentage of tuition and fees, depending on how long you have served in the military. Tuition and fees are paid directly to New Horizons of Washington, D.C.

Monthly Housing Stipend
This portion of the benefit is paid directly to the veteran each month he or she is enrolled in classes. The housing stipend is based on the institution's zip code.
Books and Supplies
Veterans are eligible for up to $1,000 in the form of an annual stipend for books and supplies. This payment is made directly to the student.
